Affectionately known as “ Forest Crew”, the Yale School Forest Apprenticeship is a 12- week summer internship designed to give crew members applied field experience in forest management including:

Performing long-term and operational inventories

Prescribing silvicultural treatments

Marking timber harvest areas

Evaluating and maintaining forest roads
